What a weirdy!
Travis came home from school on Friday with these great glasses. He and Olivia and Johnny were brave enough for me to take their pictures- Katherine and I knew better! The other pictures were just of the kids having fun with the camera! I love digital cameras and being able to delete!
Anyway, this week has been full of updating my blog and getting over a cold... Oh- Johnny started his second semester of nursing this week. He's excited and is really organized. He's learned quickly that it's important to stay one step ahead. I'm really proud of him. Katherine and Travis are doing great in their music class, which also started this week. (Which means I'm learning a lot too! Love Let's Play Music!)
The kids had checkups this week. I was crazy and made appointments to have all five checkups in the same afternoon. Luckily Johnny got home early and was able to go with me. I got all the way there and realized I didn't bring the shot records. So Johnny stayed at the clinic with the kids and I ran home to find them. Travis had to get a shot and poor Bryn got three! I gave her Motrin that night but other than that she was fine. She weighs a little over 9 lbs now and she's 2 1/2 months. Since she weighed 6 lbs 11 oz, they say she's doing fine. I wonder though because my nephews that are her age are like 11 and 13 lbs. Bryn is my fifth baby though- she's just like the others at this age I guess. The NP said she's got the reflexes and alertness (??I don't know what else to call it) of a 4 month old. So she's really smart! No worries. The kids were all healthy and did well- glad we went.
Tomorrow is no school for MLK Jr. Day and we plan to go to Lufkin with the kids, maybe go to the zoo. We'll decide after we see the weather in the morning. It's gonna be 32 tonight I think.
Well, Bryn's crying and it's obviously late. Tune in next time!
