Happy Easter!

I love Easter! As a little girl, Easter was new dresses, white sandals, hats and egg hunts. This Easter means a lot more to me for obvious reasons. I am so thankful for so many things. I realize I could not have so much to be thankful for if my Saviour had not been resurrected. I am especially thankful for Him and his sacrifice and love. I am thankful that this country celebrates this special time. Our kids were able to hunt eggs and have Easter parties at school. Of course we teach them what the egg represents and what Easter is all about- just like at Christmas. They had lots of fun participating. Katherine had her Easter Party at the city park at 10:45 a.m. and Travis had his on the elementary playground at noon. Olivia, Ella and I were able to make it to both! We also celebrated with my family and Johnny's family separately. We had an egg hunt at my parents' house and another at Johnny's Aunt Melinda's house. We took pictures at all of them except Aunt Melinda's because our camera was out of batteries- :(
