Ratatouille and Happy Feet

Before going to Vidor, we had our suspicions that we may have had an unwelcome visitor lurking in our pantry.

So we come home and while I'm on the phone with my friend Karla, my suspicions are confirmed. Yeah, I know. Gross.

I texted Johnny. I left a voice mail for Johnny. I emailed Johnny- I made sure my bases were covered and he took care of it, I think. He bought mouse traps, ew I said the word. Ugh! He set them out and after about 30 minutes, he had one! (I'll spare you an actual picture- it wasn't a Kodak moment so I didn't take one.)

All day and all night, we only caught one- hopefully that's all we had... sick!

I've decided not to use the word m-o-u-s-e when referring to my little infestation... Our family has our own vocabulary:

In case you don't remember, we don't use the word L-I-C-E either...

Here's the background for the Happy Feet: I was combing Olivia's hair and found nits, I told her she had bugs in her hair and that I would have to wash it and get rid of them. She said, "No, I don't have bugs in my hair, I have Happy Feet. They're my friends, they're dancing in my hair." LOL It's so much easier to deal with Happy Feet than L-I-C-E!

Luckily we're not dealing with Happy Feet at the moment... one infestation at a time I always say.
