Happy Love Day!

In honor of "Love Day", we thought it would be fun to list 14 things we love, and why...

1. Each other! Why not?
2. Our testimonies because it's who we are
3. A bike ride on a cool sunny day, because it's hard to see when sweat is pouring off my face.
4. Great movies (quotable ones, like the Princess Bride and Napoleon Dynamite and Nacho Libre, Lord of the Rings, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, etc.) Here are a few lines:

5. Reelin' in a big bass. It's the best!
6. Blue Bell ice cream. SO MANY FLAVORS!
7. A clean house- as opposed to a dirty one- any questions? (OCD- google it!)
8. Texas. There are more songs about Texas than anywhere else. There are 40 bronze sculptures of Texas Longhorns near the original location of the Shawnee Trail. There are six species of the bluebonnet that grow in Texas, which is our state flower. We have the most efficient, recognizable dialect in the world. George Strait lives here. No matter what airport you visit, you can buy something from/about Texas. It's the most popular state, and we are fortunate enough to be "native born Texicans." (Guess which movie that was from!)
9. Super foods! Like fresh spinach or blueberries. Ask Oprah, she knows.
10. Little known facts- stupid things nobody else cares about. For instance, did you know that the brown spots on bananas come from the fruit flies that hatched out? We love wikipedia- they know everything!
11. Good clean jokes- Here's one: Knock knock. (say who's there?) Letter. (say, letter who?) Let her in, she's been knocking! (That was from Blue's Clues, our kids love that one! Otherwise check out Brian Regan- we love him!)
12. Jack Johnson. Great music! Great lyrics! Great sound! Love his song "Good People".
13. Good deals. Good deals on just about anything. Resale shops, Goodwill, garage sales, the mall, outlets, ebay, just about anywhere!
14. A good workout. "Exercise gives you endorphins. Endorphins make you happy. Happy people just don't..."
