Updates...
Okay, so since my last post... Johnny realized he needed to resand some, no most, of the seams in the ceiling. This was drudgery!!! He did it though. So, then he primed the walls and re-textured the ceiling, with the help of Michael Packard. I think that helped a lot for him to come, it really boosted Johnny's spirits to have someone else to talk to- I was the work-horse (enemy)-lol. The next day I worked all morning finishing the wood filler on the bead-board. After lunch I primed the bead-board and ceiling. I had to rush to pick up Katherine and then it was right back to work. AmyLyn Packard came and helped me paint the sheetrock Dancing Blue, it was beautiful! I love the smell of paint!! (We did have the windows open, since we're both pregnant.) As soon as Johnny got home, he came and helped paint the ceiling while I finished up the walls. The plan was to completely finish the room that night- paint and clean up. So, I painted the bead-board, and quickly found out that it would take two coats- not in my plan! It got pretty late, pretty quickly and Johnny headed for bed. I was determined but by 1 a.m. I too succumbed to my mortal existence. I hate that. I had only painted the first coat and hadn't really cleaned anything. The next morning, Johnny finished the second coat and we quickly finished cleaning and rearranged the furniture! CELEBRATE!!! It felt sooo good! The kids were glad to have their room back- it was like Christmas!
