we were married in the Dallas Texas Temple for time and all eternity. These 10 years have made us so close and our love for each other is so much stronger. When we were married, I didn't think I could love him more or know him better. I'm so grateful to be married to him and that we've been through everything together. He is my best friend and makes me a better person. I don't normally like to share these kinds of feelings so publicly, but I do want my kids to know how special our marriage is. Johnny is such a good example and a good father and husband. I love how important our family is to him and how he shows it. He thinks differently than anyone I've ever known and cares so much about people. Through so many trials, he's made sure we've grown closer and stronger. I've learned so much about how to communicate my feelings and thoughts to make my relationships, especially my relationship with him, better. He's helped me learn about myself and what I want to achieve. He's given me 5 beautiful babies- that all look just like him, which is okay, because he's so good-looking. I'm so proud to be his wife and I'm grateful for these 10 years together.

Since Johnny had to work on our anniversary, we decided to celebrate all year instead of just one day. While he was at work that day, I was busy cooking. The missionaries knew it was our anniversary, so they had the kids help surprise us. Katherine and Travis asked me to come into her room to see something. When I did, she couldn't stop laughing and closed the door and Travis held it. I looked around to see what it was she was trying to show me and I saw Ella come out of their closet in purple rubber boots that went up to her knees. Kinda funny- but not the reason I was there. After a minute or two of Katherine laughing her head off, Travis left the room, only to come right back and say, "Okay, you can come out now." I'm very confused at this point, until I walk into the kitchen and see this:

How sweet is that?! The picture is of our family with Elder Hagge at Toledo Bend. We went for a quick picnic that day. They gave us a card and $20. The P.S. says "We need board back by tomorrow", but it got smeared. It was a nice surprise.

Happy Anniversary Johnny, I love you.
