It all started

when I bought 4 lbs of squash. I wanted to make a really yummy squash casserole (a Southern staple). I knew it would make way too much for my little (haha) family. So on Saturday evening, while I'm making it, I asked Johnny if he wanted to call his family and put together a Sunday Pot Luck-ish. SO, we planned it to be at Michael & Kayla's house- we brought chicken to grill, squash casserole and a watermelon. Johnny's mom brought baked beans and a peach cobbler, Kayla made mac & cheese and Amy brought salad and green beans (I hope I didn't forget anything- sorry if I did). Everything tasted sooo good, at least everyone said it did. Johnny and I couldn't taste anything. Somehow we contracted a rare virus that effected our tongues. Our tongues felt like we drank HOT chocolate and burned off ALL our taste buds. On top of not being able to taste, we had little sores on our tongues too. I know, gross! It's just about gone now- a few sores and missing some taste still.

But on a lighter note, I helped my niece Dannah make her own blog! She's 12 & so cool!

You can check out her blog by clicking on her name on my friends list.

Thanks for a great time family!
