Poor Travis....

Okay, so I'm seriously thinking about homeschooling. At least during the "Cold and Flu" season. Poor Travis is sick, again! He was better last Wednesday, so I let him go to school on Thursday and Friday. Today we were getting ready to go to his cousins' birthday party and he was acting sluggish. So we check his temp and it was 100.2! He's gotten up to 102.3 this afternoon and we can't figure it out- he says nothing hurts really, except sometimes his stomach hurts. It was hurting last night, but we thought he just needed to use the bathroom. Anyway, please pray for him.

  1. that stinks! we fought a fever with aimi lark on and off for a month! UTAH is the worst for kid sickness it seems! but our ped. said that sometimes a low grade fever is ok b/c it is fighting the sickness... (a positive way to look at it i guess...)

  2. I feel your pain, Jill. We all went through the flu a couple of weeks ago. Gabi was so miserable, bless her heart. But, she did the same thing... she acted better, the fever went away, and then a couple of days later it all popped up again. Give him 24 hours and he'll be 100% better. And, as a helpful tip from my pediatrician (which you might already do) is to treat all illnesses with extra TLC - let Travis wear pajamas all day, watch his favorite movies, eat whatever he wants, and snuggle, snuggle, snuggle. That always seems to work for us, too.
