They have LOVED it!
It's so interactive and fun that they don't even mind
learning math :).
I have loved that I am able to review their "backpack",
see their grades, and if need be, have them
re-do an assignment or two.
Since we've joined Time4Learning in the middle of the school year,
we'll probably continue through some of the summer to
insure they will be ready for next year.
While I don't think Time4Learning will be all they'll ever need,
I must say, I am very pleased with what they have to offer.
Olivia is in Kindergarten and is still working on learning to read.
Most days of the week, she does a lot with Language Arts.
Travis is in the 3rd grade, and his favorite subject is science.
He struggles with math, so I've had him working on
memorizing his math facts.
Katherine is in the 4th grade. She also struggles with math facts,
so it's been crucial for her to review and practice with flash cards
and with Time4Learning.
I feel more confident in my ability to homeschool my kids
because I have Time4Learning as a resource. I've been able to
set the kids up on their computers in the morning
and go do dishes or laundry or feed Samuel.
It's a running joke that Time4Learning is like
a Crockpot- I set it up and walk away. I only have
to check on it from time-to-time. ;)
to check on it from time-to-time. ;)
Hahahthat's funny you can compare it to a croc-pot! lol Do all the kids have their own computer? I'm glad you are enjoying home schooling them! I love you!!
ReplyDeleteWe have 1 desktop and 2 netbooks, so they can all work at the same time. I'll have to post a picture (once I take one) of all of them with their headphones on at the computers. ;) It's presh! We miss y'all and LOVE y'all! :) xoxo
ReplyDeleteI,too, love your crock-pot analogy! LOL Never thought of it quite like that, but it is so perfect. My DD (14) uses T4L and has for the last 2 years, and really likes it. I like that I can adjust her grade level up or down in each subject.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed hearing how your kids were enjoing T4L. Thanks for sharing.
