It's Time!!!

School started bright and early Monday morning for Katherine, Travis and Olivia. After eating a yummy and nutritious breakfast {consisting of homemade french toast sticks}, we packed up their lunches and headed out.

We were all
super excited! So were a lot of other parents. The parking lot was flooded with cars, so we parked next-door at the public library...and walked.

She's too excited to cry!
:)

What a handsome boy! I love the little gaps in his smile :)

3rd grade is a piece of cake for Katherine.
{Although she did have butterflies on her stomach.}

Ella's already having a whale of a time with
her mama and daddy and little Bryn.

Our day was just getting started...

We promised the missionaries we'd take them to Brother and Sister Watts' house. They live on 24 beautiful acres in Shelbyville, about 40 miles north (?) of us.

Their dog, Lilo, does tricks for treats ;)

We had so much fun. Thanks Ronnie and Gloria for a great day :)

The kids had a great day too!

For the kids' after-school snack, I made:
I used a brownie mix, but added healthy ingredients, only to top it off with melted chocolate chips ;)

They liked it :)

It's going to be a great year!

And, that house out in the country is stunning. Those hummingbird pictures blew me away.
